Aqua Collection Perfume Samples

I thought I would try some lighter, more aquatic perfumes for summer.  I have discovered that I am not a huge fan of these types of perfumes.

Cool Water Into The Ocean - Davidoff

I think this is my favorite of the collection.  I found it to be refreshing and crisp.  The blend of fruit, and floral notes is great, and the mint gives it a really crisp clean scent. While this is not my favorite perfume ever, it is one I might wear.
The bottle is a lovely blue and very simple.

Top Notes: Mint, Melon, Pineapple
Middle Notes: Violet
Base Notes: iris

Eternity Aqua - Calvin Klein

This was a nice cool and light scent.  Perfect for the warm summer weather and very casual. Initially you get a burst of apple, but once it mellows, the floral notes are much more evident. It has a somewhat powdery scent once it mellows.  It did fade really fast
The bottle conjures images of the cool ocean, and looks very modern and pretty. Over all, while not a perfume I would wear often, but it was nice

Top Notes: Cucumber, Red Apple, Peony, Apricot
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Gardenia, Magnolia, Tiare Flower
Base Notes: Woodsy Notes, Cedar, Musk

Tous H2O - Tous

Apparently this perfume was inspired by a jewelry collection.  I would really love to see this collection because it sounds stunning (all gold or silver with blue topaz that represented tear drops).  Of this collection, this bottle is the prettiest!  I love that it looks like a blue topaz tear drop. It is just gorgeous!
Sadly the perfume itself sort of fell flat for me.  Now, granted, I am biased, not being a huge fan of aquatic perfumes, but this one was just too light.  I'd have liked something a little fresher, more clear.  This scent was very soft and aquatic, but I found it to be almost non existent. I think I would have liked it way more if the scent had been a little stronger, with a bit more staying power.

Top Notes: Amalfi Lemon, Lavender
Middle Notes: Rose, Jasmine
Base Notes: Virginia Cedar, Amber, Sandalwood

Aqua Di Roma - Laura Biagiotti

This is supposedly a very floral and woodsy perfume, but all I get from it is cloying melon.  I did not like it and could not get it washed off fast enough.  Oddly, melon is not one of the perfume notes. This one may have been my least favorite from this collection.
The bottle on the other hand is kinda cool, and reminds me of sun kissed beaches in Greece.  I just wish the contents had lived up to the very nice bottle.

Top Notes: Black Currant, Bergamot, Lemon
Middle Notes: Mimose, Honeysuckle, Magnolia, Tuberose, Jasmine, Rose
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Amber, Musk, Vanilla
